Do I need to register for the event?
Yes. Potato Days UK is free-to-attend, but you must register online in advance. You can register here.
Can I bring children to Potato Days UK?
Potato Days UK is a business event and has a great deal of working machinery and live technical demonstrations, so we do not recommend children under the age of 16 attend the event.
If you do plan to bring children, they must be pre-registered, always accompanied and remain the responsibility of their adult carers.
Is there parking on site?
Yes – there is plenty of free parking available, adjacent to the show site. Vehicles and their contents are left at the owners risk. Please follow the directions.
How can I get special assistance?
If you need special assistance, please refer to the sections below. On-site stewards will guide and direct you.
Are there EV charging points on site?
No. The setting is remote, so these facilities will not be provided for.
Will wi-fi be available on the grounds?
Yes.
Is there a cash point on site?
No. You should bring enough cash or use your credit card to purchase refreshments and food.
Will there be catering outlets on site?
Yes. Potato Days UK is teaming up with some exciting local food outlets to cater to all our visitors’ appetites. Catering facilities will be available with food and hot drinks available for purchase each day from 07:00-16:00.
What should I wear?
This is an outdoor, field days event. Please come prepared for the weather conditions and wear comfortable heavy-duty footwear.
Are dogs or other animals allowed at the show?
Dogs – except for assistance dogs – are not allowed at Potato Days UK.

Can I attend more than one day?
Yes. Potato Days UK is being held over two days. Pre-register and keep your printout ticket for both days.

Special Assistance at Potato Days UK
We understand that sometimes special assistance is needed to get the most out of a show you’re attending. That’s why here at Potato Days UK we will endeavour to make sure everyone can enjoy their experience despite any additional requirements. It is paramount to us that Potato Days UK is all-inclusive and boundary free.
Access & Parking
There will be a forward parking area close to the visitor entrance for vehicles displaying the official blue disability badge. Please follow all ‘Potato Days UK Visitor’ signage to the event.
If you do not have an official blue disability badge, but have reduced mobility, and need to park close to the entrance, please contact the Potato Days UK Team in advance here.
Mobility scooter hire
Mobility scooters will be available to hire at Potato Days UK 2024. It is advisable to book in advance.
Please note Potato Days UK takes place in a field, and while it is mostly flat, there may be areas of uneven terrain, especially in wet weather.
Carers, Assistants & Guides
If you need to bring a carer, assistant, or guide with you to the event to maximise your enjoyment, then that carer will be admitted free of charge but please make sure they have registered in advance. Further assistance can be found at the registration desk onsite.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs on leads/harnesses are welcome to the event but please bring clean-up supplies as they will not be provided.
Toilets
Unisex wheelchair-accessible toilets are available on the site. Please see the site map for location details.
Medical Emergencies
In the event of a medical emergency, please notify a member of security or any member of the Potato Days UK event team who will help you. First aid is located next to the Organisers Office.
